God does give us more than we can handle, intentionally.

I’ve learned, during hardship, whether self-inflicted or spiritual warfare, that help, financial or otherwise, has shown up in some of the most unexpected and sudden ways to where only God gets the glory.

Just like Gideon’s battle against an insurmountable army with just 300 men. “God doesn’t give us more than we can handle,” is a false statement frequently repeated. God will absolutely put us into insurmountable circumstances so that once we’ve overcome, only he receives the glory for the victory achieved.

Just like Paul’s thorn in the flesh, God’s strength is made perfect in our weakness so we praise him for his power and accept our powerlessness.
