My name is Pastor Joe Hooten.
I am a recovered alcoholic and addict, clean and sober by the grace of God, one day at a time, since March 31, 1997.
I have been married to my beautiful wife, Sierra, since September 14, 1999.
I was saved by and have been a dedicated believer in Jesus Christ since May 2, 2001.
I have four children. Two boys and two girls. Alex and Robbie, and Serenity and Abby. Alex has multiple disabilities, being totally blind and having infantile autism.

I have a Bachelor’s degree in Bible and Ministry from Bethel College with a concentration in nonprofit management. I also have Certificates in Biblical Studies and Biblical Greek from Tyndale Seminary, and Basic Training in Biblical Counseling from Faith Biblical Counseling Ministries. My graduate work includes both Teaching and Ministry. I am licensed as a professional educator in FL, IL, and IN to teach birth through 6th grade, middle grades 5-9 ELA, and K-12 PE, and I am a licensed pastor through the Churches of God General Conference, cggc.org. Currently, I am working as a professional commercial truck driver.
